My Experience with NRT (Nutrition Response Testing)

I made a promise to myself after being sick for more than 4 years and not getting any results with western doctors, I would take better care of my health. I regularly see a Acupuncturist and a Chiropractor  to make sure my nerve health is in place and my bones are supporting me properly. My Chiropractor offers  NRT (Nutrition Response Testing) services. I wanted to try this because I heard that after using NRT and taking the recommended supplements, most clients experience 90% or better improvement in their overall health. With NRT you get a personalized healing program that improves your overall health. They  focus on the whole body finding the root of the problem as opposed to simply masking your symptoms.

In Western medicine there are two key parts: the diagnosis and the treatment (drugs or surgery).
In Nutrition Response Testing they analyse  by using your body’s own muscle group in combination with acupressure points to find the weakness is in the body and then, recommend food/nutrition supplements that will strengthen the part of the body that is weak.

The analysis is done through testing the body’s neurological reflexes and acupressure points.  The neurological reflexes are derived from the part of the nervous system whose job is to regulate the functions of each and every organ. The acupuncture points are selected from the ancient Chinese system of acupuncture.

NRT is a study of how the different points on the surface of the body relate to the state of health and to the flow of energy in each and every organ and function of the body.  These reflexes and specific points has become extremely useful in this practice because they are so accurate.

“How Do We Access the Nutrition Response Testing™ Reflexes in Order to Get This Information?

If we were to hook you up to an EKG machine and take a reading, that would make perfect sense to you, right? What is actually happening during that procedure? Electrical energy from the heart is running over the wires. This electrical energy makes the EKG record the energy pattern in the form of a graph or chart. We could then study this graph and tell you what it all means. In Nutrition Response Testing™, instead of connecting electrodes to the specific points being tested, the practitioner contacts these points with his/her own hand. With the other hand, he/she will test the muscles of your extended arm. If the reflex being contacted is active, the nervous system will respond by reducing energy to the extended arm and the arm will weaken and drop. This drop signifies underlying stress or dysfunction, which may be affecting your health.”-

After having the NRT test it only showed one of my organs as being weak, it was my sigmoid colon. So the practitioner  tested specific high quality nutritional supplements against this weak area to find which ones bring the reflexes back to strength.

“Decades of clinical experience tell us that when we have found the correct nutritional supplements, as indicated by this procedure, and when we work out a highly personalized nutritional supplement schedule, we have accomplished the most important first step of supporting the underlying deficiency or imbalance that caused the reflex to be active in the first place.  By following the program as precisely as possible, you are well on your way to restoring normal function and improving your health.” –

Also I was tested for other stressors that affect my body. The test revealed that I have the following stressors:

* Wheat

* Soy

* Spelt

* Aluminium

So I was advised to stay away from Wheat, Soy, Spelt for the next 90 days and was given Food supplements to help my digestion and to help eliminate aluminium from my system.

Here is a pics of testing for stressors (in each bottle it contains the possible stressor):

I will periodically post a blog of my health updates weekly. Also on my next post I will share pics of the Food supplements I was prescribed and the reason. IF this works well I would love to train
